Crossing Arachthos by rafting is a special water route of 30 km in one of the most beautiful rivers of Epirus and a unique activity that highlights the beauties of Tzoumerka.
The Crossing of Arachthos starts from the Bridge of Krapsi. First, we meet the stone Bridge of Papastathis, while at 11 km from the starting point, at the Tsimpovo Bridge, we pass strong passes of 4th degree. At about 18 km, on our left, Kalarritikos pours its waters into Arachthos and significantly enhances the volume and strength of the river.
At 20 km route, we pass the Politsa Bridge, where the classic route to the Arachthos Gorge begins. At this point, we do not miss the opportunity to visit and take a dip in the natural lake formed by the twenty-centimeter Waterfall of Klifki. Along the way, we meet dozens of springs gushing from the rocks with crystal clear and drinking water.
At the exit of the Gorge, at the end of the route, we reach the largest single-arched bridge in the Balkans, the Plaka Bridge.
